Our People
We are endeavouring to build up a pool of volunteers to assist our small number of staff.
There are many projects we aim to develop and implement over a period of years. The Fox Classic Car Collection is formulating a marketing package to assist in the securing of financial sponsorship for these programs. Volunteers are invaluable in making the programs possible in the immediate future and hopefully become ongoing and successful.
Until we have developed ongoing programs we will not be in a position to offer regular volunteer rosters. Dependent on program bookings volunteer activity is currently sporadic. Contact with volunteers is by intermittent letters/ emails providing updated information of our activities. We arrange information sessions when we have a larger group of newer registrations.
When we have notice of an event, which will require immediate volunteer support we seek assistance by directly contacting volunteers registered on our database.
All volunteers will need to undertake a police check and attend an information session.
- Some roles volunteers undertake:
Conduct tours of vehicle exhibits in the Fox Classic Car Collection
Helping students build mini cars for our education program
Monitor visitors and vehicle exhibits during various events and Open Days
Assist in cleaning and tidying of areas
Administrative tasks where appropriate and practical.
Various tasks under the direction of the Volunteer Coordinator or Director - Register Now
